Aqualand

Open daily from 10h - 19h until Sunday 6th September there's fun for the whole family at Aqualand. One of 14 parks across France, Spain and Portugal, Aqualand is certainly the biggest waterpark on the French Riviera and also boasts the largest wave pool in Europe! The park expands over 8 hectares of land and has pools and slides using 10 000 square metres of water. There's no better place to cool off when the Mediterranean sun is at its' peak.

With around twenty slides of differing speeds and drops there's plenty to entertain big kids and little ones at Aqualand. The slides are all graded and colour coded according to 'thrill levels'! Green being the most tame and black slides being the real frighteners.

Then once you've worked up a real appetite there are a few tasty food bars situated around the park, it's not cheap so it may be worth taking a picnic if you can.

Adult - 24,50 Euro

Child (3-12)- 18 Euro

Babies - free

Over 65 - 18 Euro

2 day pass Adult - 30,50 Euro

2 day pass Child - 24 Euro

Unlimited pass for season Adult or Child - 79 Euro.

You have to pay for sun loungers for the day at a cost of Euro 3,00 per bed. Alternatively there is the ViP area which is far less crowded at a cost of Euro15,00 per person for the day.

It is free to store bags in the baggage area however there is a confusing and over-crowded system so if you can avoid taking lots with you and little valuables then do.

August is obviously the peak season and is incredibly busy, to the point where they let far too many people into the park, however if you get there first thing or after 4pm then it's not too bad.
